Preschool
Al- Hadi Preschool caters to the educational needs of children 18 months through five years of age. Our Preschool Program employs an integrated curriculum (Abeka) which is delivered a multi-sensory approach. Abeka's curriculum has many features to help all of our students in different areas of development. The curriculum emphasizes hand-eye coordination, listening, thinking, reading, writing, phonics, numbers, art/skills development, and habits training i.e. raising a hand for permission to speak, lining up, putting toys away, etc. Additionally, the Abeka curriculum has workbook/s for every age group based on their level of development to help every individual student master their learning skills, and also help the teachers understand every student’s developmental stage and set a goal to approach and aid every child to develop their skills in the areas that are lacking.
Therefore, students are exposed daily to memorization of the Holy Quran and Arabic language by native speakers. Islamic values are inculcated from the very early ages. In addition to that, they learn Spanish on daily basis from a native speaker’s teacher.
The backbone of our preschool program is our caring, qualified and dedicated teachers composed of well trained and professional teachers who strive to help children grow into unique and confident individuals.
Our teachers have child development associate(CDA) certification, CPR, and first aid training.
Our classrooms are self-contained safe, organized and inviting. They provide a variety of learning centers including, art, library, manipulatives, pretend play, building, science, mathematics, writing, computer and sensory centers.
A typical day in our preschool includes:

The student teacher ratio meets the requirement of licensed child care centers. Part time and full time schedules are available between, 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
The Preschool program offers the following part-time and full-time schedules:
Academic day 7:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Extended day 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
All day 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
