Salam Alaikom va Rahmatollah Dear Al-Hadi School Families,
The start of the 2019-2020 school brings with it a flood of emotions and nostalgia. We are reminded of our humble beginnings at our Voss location in 1996 and the trailblazers who set out with a vision that has brought to fruition what we have today. The culmination of the tireless efforts of thousands of individuals through the years is our reality today as we set to begin the inaugural year in our new building.
With the palpable excitement levels also comes a renewed commitment to growth. Our rebranding campaign, Al-Hadi 2.0, is an effort to accentuate what we have seen succeed in the past 23 years and to minimize our shortcomings throughout this journey. Through the course of the year, we hope to have you alongside as we write the narrative of what Al-Hadi 2.0 represents for us as we move forward. With the support of our most valuable partners, parents, the true impact of what a school with a culture of high achievement can accomplish will be felt.
This year, we have made an adjustment to our school bell schedule. Students will still start at 7:45am and be tardy if they are not in homeroom classes by 7:50am. The school dismissal time will be extended by five minutes to 3:20pm. This change will be providing us with uniformity for our scheduled blocks while addressing additional needs.
While our educational practices may see changes, we are, as always, firm in our resolve to prepare our students to be educated global citizens who are steadfast in abiding by our Islamic principles. Our unwavering, continued commitment to you is to ensure that student success is at the forefront of all decision making. We are honored to be entrusted with the weighty responsibility of preparing your beloved children to be the leaders of tomorrow. It is our hope that over the next few years Al-Hadi School along with its ‘village’ can become a pioneer in educating knowledgeable, compassionate, and informed change agents who will strive to establish the groundwork for the divinely promised justice.
I sincerely look forward to your continued cooperation and support. Do not hesitate to call or email me if you have any concerns or questions.
We seek His divine guidance and support for all our endeavors.
